In October 5 - 7 the traditional International Conference Labour Law 2011 took place in Castle Hotel Třešť. This conference is an annual meeting of legal experts interested in recent problems of labour law and social security law. The title of this year’s conference was Collective Labour Law. However, current proposals of legislation in the field of social security law were dealt with as well.
The Conference was a meeting of leading experts from scientific and theoretical area, judges of courts of all instances, representatives of the Department for Legislation of Ministry of Labour and Social Affaires in the role of floor manager of laws and supplementary legal regulations and other representatives of tripartite i.e. trade unions and employer’s confederations and last but not least the experts dealing with labour law and social security law in legal practice. The present Conference Proceedings records the content of main papers presented at the conference. There are represented various opinions on collective labour relations, in particular position of representatives of employees at the employer, and their legal regulation. According to the agreement of organizers and participants of the conference, the Conference Proceedings contains also the subsequent compilation of discussion entries, or their main parts, given at the conference, or the papers that were not presented due to the active discussion. In the end the Conference Proceedings introduces so called 1st stage of social reform that is the package of amendments of legislation regulating especially social assistance and state social support.
Since the collective labour law is a part of labour law disposing only a limited number of publication sources, this Conference Proceedings may provide detailed information for scientific work and practical application of the legal regulation governing the collective labour law.

Posuzovaný sborník Pracovní právo 2011 shrnuje základní referáty a diskusní příspěvky, které byly předneseny na každoroční mezinárodní konferenci pracovního práva. V roce 2011 byla tato konference věnována sociálnímu dialogu se zaměřením zejména na sociální reprezentaci zaměstnanců, ale i na další otázky, které se sociálním dialogem úzce souvisejí. Sborník je úctyhodným počinem, protože jsou v něm zachyceny myšlenky, které buď v diskusní podobě přímo odezněly na konferenci anebo příspěvky reagovaly na podněty, které z jednání konference vzešly.
Sborník obsahuje dva základní bloky, a to první bloky věnovaný Sociálnímu dialogu a sociální reprezentaci zaměstnanců a druhý blok věnovaný Sociálnímu dialogu a aktuálním otázkám sociálního zabezpečení. … Celkově lze uvést, že představuje velmi dobrý ediční počin, když jsou tak zachyceny aktuální problémy, které byly na konferenci řešeny a je možno je využít pro další bádání v této oblasti. Vydání sborníku plně doporučuji.
