Before going abroad

INTERNSHIP FUNDING

Funding for traineeships can be obtained through Erasmus+, Freemover or through the Special Short Stay Grant. These projects are administered by the MU Centre for International Cooperation (CIC). Other sources of funding are the Faculty Scholarship Programme to support internationalisation for PhD students and specific research projects.

ADMINISTRATION

At the faculty, the student must conclude Foreign Activity Plan (if your stay is not administered by the CIC) or Learning Agreement for Traineeship (if your stay is administered by the CIC). The internship and the credits for it will be recognized in the study by a course (e.g. DIINTER Internationalization) with the appropriate number of credits. Application is due upon return - do not register any courses in advance! The course will be registered using the application for recognition of stay/internship, see section "upon return".

The Training Agreement is signed on behalf of PrF MU:

All mobilities not administered by the CZS (e.g. stays financed from a faculty scholarship programme): the supervisor;
European mobilities administered by the CZS (e.g. Erasmus+, freemover etc.): doc. JUDr. Tereza Kyselovská, Ph.D. with the consent of the supervisor;
Mobilities outside Europe administered by the CZS (e.g. Erasmus ICM, freemover etc.): the Vice-Dean prof. JUDr. Ing. Michal Radvan, Ph.D. with the consent of the supervisor.

In any case, it is essential that the student consults the stay with his/her supervisor!

The stay must be entered into the "data record of internships, study and work stays" application (Student - Internships and stays) in IS. Instructions here. Any stay abroad longer than 14 days must be registered in the IS, regardless of whether the student wishes to have the stay recognised. However, we recommend that you keep a record of all stays, including conferences. Only stays with proper records (i.e., documents uploaded) will be accepted for study and listed on the Diploma Supplement.

In addition to "registration in the IS", the student also needs to fulfil other requirements related e.g. to the award of a specific type of scholarship (registration of travel documents, etc.).

During the stay abroad

If there are changes to the originally approved work plan (content, person of the coordinator), they must be agreed in writing by both the sending and receiving institutions.

The process of making a change to a student contract is identical to the initial contract.

Before returning home

The student will have Foreign Activity Report (if your stay is not administered by the CIC) or Traineeship Certificate (if your stay is administered by the CIC) confirmed by the foreign university.

Upon return

The Traineeship Certificate or Foreign Activity Report is to be signed by the above-mentioned authorized person upon the student's return.

The document signed by both parties is entered by the student into the Internship, Study and Work Placement Data Register in IS. Instructions here.

You must also apply to the faculty for recognition of your stay/internship. Recognition is done through a course (e.g. DIINTER Internationalization) with the appropriate number of credits.

The application for recognition of the course is submitted electronically in the IS (in the record of the study stay). Instructions here.
